Stearns Cleaning was founded in 1998 by Dave Levesque. The Levesque family proudly owns and operates Stearns Cleaning to this day. Lisa (David’s wife) manages the office, scheduling, client services, billing, and more. Our daughters Marissa (13) Kyleigh (11) and Katy (4) love helping Lisa with various tasks around the office and going the extra mile to make customers smile.

Family values run through our business, even as we’ve grown to 12 staff and 7 trucks. Our trained labor network enables us to quickly respond to cleaning and restoration projects of any size. For large scale disasters, Stearns Cleaning has highly trained stand-by labor ready to deploy at a moment’s notice.
With nearly two decades of experience (and happy customers), we’ve established long-term relationships with commercial property owners, office buildings, and residential homeowners serving both their disaster needs and ongoing cleaning tasks. We are still proudly serving some of our first customers all the way back from 1998!
The Stearns Name
I’m sure you’re wondering, “Why is your company named Stearns if your last name is Levesque?” Great question. I have my Grandparents, Nelson and Shirley Stearns, to thank.
My grandma and grandpa encouraged me to go into business on my own. Because of their inspiration and support, I asked them if I could name my new carpet cleaning business in honor of them, the Stearns. Without hesitation, they said yes.
My grandparents, Nelson and Shirley, have since passed, but their name and inspiration remain at the forefront of our business and our lives. Our commitment to service and honest business practices run deep so we can continually honor the Stearns name.

Our staff is certified by the most reputable organization in the industry: Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). Even with 18 years of experience, we never stop learning. Outside of serving our customers, you’ll find Dave (and his team) attending training classes, reading books, and studying trade journals to stay up to date on the latest science-based practices to best serve his clients.
